PocketWork
Cookie & Tracking Notice
Version 2026-06-01
PocketWork keeps its browser footprint deliberately small. Analytics and advertising cookies are OFF until you choose to accept them, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time from this page.
Essential auth and session storage
To keep you signed in, our authentication provider stores session tokens in your browser's local storage. Without this, you would need to sign in on every page. This is essential and cannot be turned off while you use a logged-in area of the app.
Role intent (localStorage)
When you choose “Continue as candidate” or “Continue as venue” from the home page, we remember that choice in localStorage under pocketwork:role-intent so the rest of signup uses the right journey.
Event buffer (localStorage)
We keep a small rolling buffer of recent product events (last 500) in localStorage under pocketwork:events. This is used for diagnostics and as a fallback if the network is briefly unavailable.
Attribution (sessionStorage)
Before you grant analytics consent, sanitised campaign parameters (UTM tags, referrer, landing path) are held in sessionStorage only — they clear when you close the tab and never persist to disk.
Analytics and advertising cookies (consent required)
- Analytics: product-usage events and campaign attribution (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4). Only loaded after you consent.
- Advertising: conversion measurement pixels (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn). Only loaded after you consent.
Withdrawing consent
Clicking Withdraw all consent above disables analytics and advertising for future page loads and clears the third-party identifiers those tools set (_ga*, _fbp,_fbc, li_*). Scripts already loaded in the current tab remain in memory until you refresh. To request deletion of analytics tied to your account, email privacy@pocketwork.co.uk.
